Recently Discovered: Cinemagraphs

Just as supermodel, Coco Rocha, said: It's more than a photo but not quite a video.So what are they then? These delightfully wonderful, alluring yet sometimes a little freaky 'images', are called cinemagraphs. Visual graphics artist, Kevin Burg, and photographer, Jamie Beck, partnered together in 2009 during NYFW, where cinemagraphs were born. First, a traditional photograph is taken, then an isolated living moment is combined into the image. Their cinemagraph subjects range from fashion editorials and runway to New York City and food.
