On the Menu: The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies


What is the secret to making the best chunky chocolate chip cookies?
Light muscovado sugar and a sprinkling of fleur de sel, that's what

Aran's recipe on Cannelle et Vanille intrigued me at why sprinkling specialty salt from France on top of cookies would make them yummier! Turns out the combination of salty and sweet is incredible. As for the muscovado sugar, the refined sugar adds a delicious richness to the cookies that plain sugar simply can't give you. Yum, these ideas sound fabulous!
