Shall I tell you something funny? Okay, here goes.

I'm spending the next month in the bush, with no internet, phone or music, quite possibly wearing Crocs.

I know, Crocs. Oh the shame.

But no, seriously. I am. So it's not really funny at all. 'Is this is a joke?' you say. Unfortunately not. Oh the joys of school camps. 

They certainly don't seem to fit into the description of a 'modette', that's for sure. 

Tomorrow morning I leave, and then I'm gone for a month. And don't be surprised if I cry while saying goodbye to my internet connection, bed and civilisation. It's hard to believe that I won't have my iPhone and laptop around me for a whole month. A MONTH! Is it possible for a social media addict like myself to suffer from withdrawal symptoms?!

Ah, but enough with the moaning. I must keep my chin high and stride on into the wilderness with the hopes that it might actually be good to get away from all the technologies I use every day. Well, kind of. At least, I'm trying to convince myself that.

P.S: About those Crocs.... they were a requirement on the gear list. I feel so weird owning a pair of Crocs. It's like I'm being disloyal to fashion or something.......
