jetsetter beauty & bon voyage....

Au revoir modettes! I'm off to Melbourne for 8 days!

I'm taking almost a whole empty suitcase so I'm expecting to do a little lot of shopping there.... I can't wait! Then we head down the coast to the beaches for some post-shopping relaxation (just kidding. Or am I?). Sadly I'm leaving my laptop at home so you won't be hearing from me here until I get back. Sorry! But be sure to follow me on Instagram (@themodette) to keep up with my adventures in Aus. I'll be posting photos when I get back!

I would also LOVE to hear your recommendations for Melbourne. Where should I shop? Eat? What should I visit?

And because it deems appropriate, click through for my top beauty tips & products for in-flight travelling - the ultimate guide to looking like a glamorous jetsetter! Because yes! Looking like the beautiful person you are IS still possible 40,000 feet
up in the air!

See you all soon! Kisses! Xxx

IN-FLIGHT BEAUTY

1. Water water water!
Plane air is notoriously dry, and will suck out your skin's moisture! Keep skin hydrated by drinking lots of water, but avoid dehydrating caffeine & alcohol.

2. Hydrate skin with a face mist.
Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray

3. Wear appropriate clothing.
A loose, comfortable outfit is a must - preferably wrinkle-free! An oversized jumper, comfortable pants, and flats is an ideal in-flight outfit. Dress in layers, because the temperature on a plane can drastically change from hot to cold!

4. Regularly apply lip balm.

5. Go make-up free! Wear just a moisturiser.
Kiehl's Oil-Free Moisturizer

6. Tie hair back in a scarf.
Combat bad hair at the end of a long flight by hiding it under a scarf. Even better if it's Hermés! ;)

7. Bring a hairbrush.

8. Use leave-in conditioner.

This well help your hair against the dry air. Apply before the flight, wrap hair in a scarf and enjoy your deep-conditioning treatment thousands of feet up high!

9. Bye bye puffy eyes!
Puffy eyes are inevitable on a long flight, so use an eye cream to 'de-puff'. Or else wrap some ice in a face cloth and hold to your eyes for an instant refresher!

9. Get your beauty sleep!
We all know watching the movies are the best, but to avoid looking like a fatigued traveller at the end, get some shut-eye! Bring a sleeping mask, ear plugs and a small pillow! Cosy up!

And if you know any places I must go to in Melbourne then comment below! Your recommendations will be like gold to me! Xxx
